Light of the womb

My gift to you
Oh, dearest mother,


From your union with your lover,
Was born this body as my harbor,
Which came bearing its own shadow,
Of a death in each tomorrow;


Yet from your womb also came through,
A sacred chance given anew,
To move beyond my earthbound plight,
Unveil my true being in full sight; 


On me your present was no loss,
As I will never bear a cross;
On me this gift was not amiss,
All I know now is love and bliss;


Please may you know this in your heart,
Your form and his may’ve grown apart, 
But from his union with Life’s might,
Your son is born again, in Light.
